Contest Corner: Snap to It in Detroit
When you’re in the Motor City this summer keep your camera handy to capture a scene that qualifies for the Crain’s Detroit Business Summer in the City! Photo Contest.
Just upload your best shots to the photo gallery and you’ll be eligible to win one of the weekly prizes, which include concert tickets to see Smokey Robinson at Freedom Hill on August 29 (hurry—that’s the first week’s prize) and gift certificates to local restaurants and shops.
After the Labor Day close of the contest two grand prizes will be awarded to the top two winners: A brick paver on the Detroit Riverwalk imprinted with your message for all eternity (or the life of the brick paver) and an overnight stay at Birmingham’s Townsend Hotel (hmmm….is that considered The City!?).
You don’t have to be a professional photographer with a fancy camera to enter, but the entry must be your work and you must be at least 18 and a legal U.S. resident.
The final entry date is Monday, September 2, 2013; see the official rules for weekly deadlines and other details, and snap away.
You can’t win if you don’t enter!
